The eighth annual North East Stove Meet was a very enjoyable four days of fettling and visiting. Winhall Brook Campground, outside of South Londonderry Vermont, was again a great venue for this July gathering. These pictures are all gathered from those 4 days. As much as we like fettling, we like eating. So much of the visiting is done around communal meals. Both in the preparing and the consuming! This was our celebration of Canadian Ian's birthday. (His 26th I'm told) This year's group was (left to right) Lyne, Betty, Ian, Ken, Paul T, Chuck, Peter, Mark, Doug, Paul B and Marlene behind the camera. Thanks Mar!
More of the group. This time with Marlene! A picture of Winhall Brook after a hard rain on the third day. And finally, getting one last pot of joe made for the trip back home. If these looked good to you, try and join us next summer! Bye

Good Evening, All, It's SO good to see so many old friends together at this NE Stove Gathering!!! Everybody looks great and I'm thinking Chuck has lost a few pounds. Am I right, or do I remember it wrong? Did Doug setup his outstanding drop forge?? I would love to see that one in action, for sure! Iain, happy birthday to you, my old friend!!! Here's to many, many more happy birthday's!! What better way to celebrate it than at a Stove Gathering with a bunch of good friends!?!?!! Someday, SB and I would LOVE to be able to join in that fun, and see you all in person!! Thank you, so very much, for sharing these great photos, and for the report on your outstanding NE Stove Gathering!! Take care, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc and SB
Doug has packed light the last two years that I have been there. So no, he didn't have the drop forge. Food is a huge part of the gathering. Chuck did almost all of the cooking. Delicious!!! Ken in NC
