Saw this great post by ArcticFlame

Has anyone rebuilt a CEJN coupler ?
Mainly with just replacing the orings

My issue is that at low temps -10C my fitting started to leak.

Intrigued, I took a spare coupling apart tonight. Easy job to do.

My regular laptop has announced a 'SMART event' to warn me that the hard drive might fail at any moment, so its in for repair and I can't upload the photos I took of the dismantling and reassembly of the coupling on this computer, which is (almost) a Commodore/Atari era PC on Windows 98.

Later in the week for the photos maybe, but the O-rings (2) match a small blue one used in a Primus Omnifuel on the control valve spindle at the burner. Glad I found that out, it means the CEJN couplings I have are user serviceable.

Pictures will tell the tale, but a spring clip at the flexi-hose end of the coupling snicks off, a male coupling is then pushed in and the sleeve holding three sprung-loaded steel detent balls slips off. The working parts can then be removed. Of the two, same-size O-rings, one makes the seal when the male coupling is connected up and the other makes the seal when it's removed, since a CEJN female coupling is automatically sealed shut when male and female are uncoupled.

    thanks John

I did manage to get mine apart but have had some issues finding the orings to replace them.

    Since I'm not a o-ring guru...
I wasn't sure where I could find singles of the orings with out having to purchase a over price service kit for a Primus or Optimus stove.

As well looking around what type of oring would this be ?

I did find a Oring that matches up in my automotive set.
Only problem is I have no idea what type it is. So I found a old pill container and dropped some orings into it. And let them sit for a couple days to see how they handle white gas.

The size that matched up was
    1/8 I/D
    1/4 O/D
    1/16 Section

Not sure if any of the primus or Optimus rebuild kits list any size specs

I had no luck finding anything at a paintball place.

My CEJN fitting didn't have the one washer listed in the first post pic. But using the orings I listed above it works great.
I did have a problem and couldn't match up the Oring that seals the fitting to the pump housing.
