I am using a Tank from an Alcohol-Stove and an too short Silicon-Tube, it blubbers back. Tubeline mind. 1 m says the Barthel Cat.

Need a longer Tube and a Wall Bracket.

Very well done rigging up the fuel supply, Peter. Appropriate use of laboratory equipment (the stand) to do so too! Love it.

The original Barthel fuel tank was bigger so gave a longer duration between refills, but the greater volume of fuel when more than quarter full would offset the bubbling back of vapourised fuel maybe? Still very functional, bubbling or not.

    Thanks for the extra photos.

    John
