    Woo-HOO!!!! :D/ :D/ :D/

Oh, that looks sooooo good! Three cheers for Henrik!   (Waiting is even harder now.)

Wim, it looks like you've got a leg fitted on your stove now. It's looking very nice. Congrats! How do you like your old style silent burner compared to the more common later designs now that you've got it running with a Henrik Lid? It certainly looks beautiful!

    Best,
    Gary

    Yes!!

Looks like my old Optimus 5J is soon going to get its top hat, and Gary's told me an inner cap's on its way to me. Two talented guys.

    Thanks fellas.

    I suspect this will be a limited production/edition ;)
So far it is you presscall and BernieDawg that has spoken for this size.
David Shouksmith is still undesided size vise.

My "zombie burner" is aching to be tested. Will it work? Only time will tell. But, it's ready when you are and we shall see!

One for the Dawg and one for presscall.
    Do you need/want more?

    Anybody else?

    Hi Henrik
Yes, please, sir. Now that the dead walk again I could use a second. :D/ Thanks!

    Hi John
Ahhh. The stove. Sorta looks like a Optimus Traveler #1, but it's not. It's a Primus #8. It appears on page nine in this 1903 catalog here at CCS:
    https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/10198/

It appears it should be sporting a roarer rather than the old #132 lid-type silent. But, I'm happy with it the way it is. ;) This one will appear in the Stove Gallery later this summer though we'll need to sort out the categories in the Gallery since this is a "new" category of #8.

    Cheers,
    Gary

I'm one happy bloke. New outer and inner caps for my Optimus 5J, courtesy of Henrik and Gary.

    Optimus 5J resto

Profound thanks to Henrik and Gary!

Great to see that Coleman 222 in such impressive company. Yeah, great lantern for packing into a small space and punches out the light way above its weight.
