Bought a stove on the bay and the seller threw in this Camping Gaz S200 Garcia in with the other one for free. Yes, I know, it's a gassie. It took about 46 seconds to put the fuel canister on, open the pot supports, light it up and then start boiling water. Borrrrrringgg! But it works quite well.

Actually, I thought you might want to see some detail on the fuel canister piercing mechanism. A bit interesting. I was a bit curious since I didn't own one until now. Installing the stove onto the can is a bit unnerving when your hear the pssst as the mechanism pierces the can. It worked right out of the box!

Sam, yes, the Camping Gaz stoves I have are quite simple to operate  you do get to hear a hisss upon installing the burner on to the canister. After that, light em and start cooking. Plain and simple.

    Glad you like it

They do get hard with age and then will leak, and you lose a full can of gas !

I just got a Globetrotter in a similar deal (thrown in for free). The GT is quite like the S200, so I thank you for the photos. Haven't owned a piercable before. Not sure if I'll use it or just pass it on.
