Canadian made 5402?

    Here is a strange one. A 2/71 dated Canadian Coleman LP picnic stove. I have never seen this model before, but it is similar to the US 5402...EXCEPT...............
    Grate is installed from the left side (US is front mounted)
    Has 4 solid brass posts on all corners. Could this be an owner's add on?...I doubt it.
    These stoves we not popular and the Cartridges are near impossible to find. Still any information would be appreciated.

    Since the fuel canisters are impossible to obtain I devised an adapter to be able to use a disposable 16oz Coleman propane cylinder.
    I soldered a 1/4" barb x 1/8" MPT fitting into the brass where the canister would normally be inserted. A length of suitable hose and a pencil torch which screws into the disposable cylinder. Works fine.
