The predecessor to the noble 426. You think a 426 is heavy? HA! The 420 is the same stove with cast iron running gear instead of much lighter steel. Used to be you couldn't buy one if you were over 40 years old to avoid personal injury claims. (Kidding!) ;) Remember, this is straight from the seller and is awaiting restoration.

Looks good, Gary! I've already gone thru one hernia operation so I'm careful what I pick up anymore. Oh, one of these days I'll have to start picking up some of the older Colemans. Right now, I have, shall we say, several Coleman stoves but none older than a couple of the early 413's. Imjust can't seem to walk away from 'em at yard sales when they're sitting there for $2 to $5. And all of mine are unfettled although most of 'em do burn....Couple of 'em aren't the tidiest things around.

    Gary,

Nice! You seem to have a knack for finding unusual suitcases. Good going! Thanks for sharing!

This is great, I have an old 420 stove just as used as yours. I'm having it restored at this moment. Sure wish I could get my hands on that old decal. Any suggestions ? Bill
