    Ah, the proverbial homemade wood box - with treasures.
    Inside this one was a nice 500 with chrome tank and a funnel with a much taped up box.
    Neat homemade wind screen. New fuel and she fired right up.

    Very nice find and like most of these older Coleman's it fired right up.
    I wonder if people still make a wood box for their treasured stoves.

    A very nice score indeed fyrwokr, the older model of Coleman stoves like the 500 and 502 were superb both in performance and in quality and built like tanks with a really good simmer control.
