This is the first time I have seen one of the Ginge stoves marked 'Dan'. Usually they have used the 'Dana' name for stoves sold though the supermarket cooperative. One possibility could be that they forgot the final A when stamping the stove, but I would expect the stamping to be done in one go. More information is needed.

Another interesting point with this stove is that it was fitted with a Revolto valve. This is obviously intended to be used together with the Revolto quick starter, but there wasn't one on the stove when I got it. Looking at the condition of the burner on the before photo could tend to indicate it has had a quick starter fitted.

Unfortunately a previous owner has been very rough with the cleaning of the stove so there are scratches all over. Not a common item though so welcome in the collection.

Of course when I did try it I forgot to take a photo.

Nice stove. I reckon the valve seen below the spirit cup is not for simmering...

When I had the stove running, I didn't try regulating that much. Can be done, but needs a fine touch. The valve is basically so that you can have pressure in the tank while preheating with the Revolto quick starter.

    What a great find.
    Yet another rare stove!
