My Feather400B purchased in 1990, two years after I purchased my MSR Whisperlite. The Whisperlite is elegant but the Coleman is far easier to use.

Looks like you've gotten some good use out of it. The only problem I have with the 400B for hiking/walking use is that it's so heavy. It is a wonderful simmering stove, something which the Whisperlite doesn't do as well.

that was my canoe tripping stove for many years.the only problem i had with it was that the shield around the burner was made with lighter metal and after banging around in the square cook kit/case the rivets pulled thru and the shield came loose.
i replaced it with one off a yard sale Peak and still use it going on 25 or so years.

    Great stove!

I have a 400B and a 400A, and notice that the metal wind guard is MUCH stronger on the A-model.
