A realy nice stove with all the bits and parts in place. I think it has some realy good details like the heatcone and that the box can be used as a windsheild! But can someone please tell me what the "pin" in the last picture is for?

We need some more clues, like a photo of what is under the pot rest.

    BTW, any flame shots?

Looks like a hinge pin for a removable case lid.

Hi Vidar, I would try a tightly rolled-up section of brass gauze inserted into the bottom of the burner feed tube. It can't do any harm and could stop the pulsing you experience.
    Best Regards,
    George.

I'm glad you asked about that pin since that thing has always puzzled me aswell.
My guess is that it's just as simple as it should be used to handle the hot heatcone, but as said; that's just a guess.
Unfortunately the instructions in the tin lid doesn't mention it in any way.
Hopefully someone else can tell for sure.

    Hello guys!
Flame shots will come, I just have to figure out what causes the pulsing!
Thanks Ron, and I understand that you want one, it is a fantastic “little” stove! 8)
George, I think I will try our tip if I find that there original is no such thing, as you say it can´t do any harm! Thank you!
Until someone else comes up with a better explanation I will settle with your Christer, thanks!

    Regards,
    Vidar
