Gloria Oxo Gas stove

    Here is a stove produced by the Gloria Lighting Co. of Chicago. Around 1920's. This one is missing one of the cast iron pot rests. In the pictures it is running on a mix of Kero & Naptha. It uses an external pump.
    The preheat-er runs under the generator and stays light while the stove is running. Both burners are always on, no way to run just one.

    A magnificent survivor and in respect of the flame pattern, inspiration for the Mother Ship in Close Encounters of the Third Kind perhaps.

    I've seen a few of these but I don't recall one with the nice decal still intact.
