    This old girl arrived today.
Had a bit of a wash and brush up.
It came with another Con Primus windshield.
Washed the tank down, stabilised the decal with lacquer, cleaned the trivet and the windshield as best as I could.
I used Purimachos, high temperature paint, cured it in the wifes oven.
Anyone know the approximate date of manufacture ?
    Cheers

    Hi

Excellent post. I'm very fond of the Governor brand. I have stoves & a blow torch, although lots of folks say they can suffer from age related stress cracks due to the metallurgy in the manufacturing process. Thanks for posting the pic of the decal - I now have a reference point for a restoration.

    Best regards Stu.
