There are better and older examples of Primus 96 in the gallery but this"G" is the oldest stove I own and I'm happy with how it turned out.

The stove itself just required new seals (NRV pip, tank gasket and pump leather) and it ran like a champ.

The flame spreader is a later generation and there was no spirit tin but maybe I can track those down in time.

The real effort came in restoring the stove's "Pocket" tin. I posted a separate thread for that. Cheers! Jerry

Would you mind adding detailed photos of the draughtshield and posting or sending me the approximate dimensions?

    Cheers

    Hey, @Metropolitantrout ,

Great job, Jerry! These older Primus Pocket Outfits are my more favorite of the 96 Tribe! There is just something about these Old Timers that attracts me to them, and when using them, I am exceedingly pleased!!! I think that the engraving on these old Primus 96's is top shelf, and quite lovely. You did a wonderful job on both the stove, and it's poor, abused tin, and I'm sure they will both serve you very well for many years to come. Thank you for sharing them here, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

Yea Doc these are really iconic little power houses and I'm lurking for a bun foot model. Someday...someday....:-({|=
