We did some research and got details for the riser. Burner needs around 0,8 mm pitch and I looked it more and seems that 30 tpi thread is perfect for the burner. Looks that it's same thread as in Optimus 00 and Primus 210 burners. Just for testing I decided to make a test thread before I try to make the riser. That thread pitch is not so common and my lathe didn't had a feed for it. ](*,) I remembered that I bought some gear wheels for the gear box some time ago, but they were not sizes that are in use on my lathe. I checked those gear wheels I noticed that with the I can get 30 tpi feed for the lathe. :D/ I did some gear wheel change:

Lathe had an English made sturdy "Snail Brand" spanner for gear wheel nuts  (is that brand still available in UK?):

Thread turning worked and thread screwed into Primus 210 riser nicely:

Next I proceed to make the riser itself. Internal thread might be a change to make, but l'll see how it works...

Today I proceeded with the riser itself...

I worried how inner thread making to a quite small hole works. [-o< It worked ok and burner screwed into the riser without problems:

In Hasag's riser there is no thinner part between the burner and nut section as in Swedish stove risers do.

I parted off the riser from the hex bar and made tank thread into it:

This is a first prototype and we will test it on next week and see how it works to the actual Hasag tank & burner. I'll take some Finnish Vodka with me so if riser won't work perfectly we can comfort ourselves with a few zips of Vodka.

    Prototype riser looks perfect!

I'm looking forward to the test.
Let the tests succeed and celebrate with Finnish vodka.:D/

Last week we tested the riser. @YOSH had kindly reserved a dinner at Sashimi restaurant  so first we took same Japanese delicacies with Sake & Vodka :D/:

Burner thread at riser was a bit too tight, but it was possible to test how stove works with new riser:

    Hi @Afterburner ,

Thank you for bringing Hasag's special custom made riser to Japan!
I was very glad to eat sashimi with sake & Finnish Vodka together.

I had tested that riser at home.
    It works perfectly!

@YOSH Good to hear that stove runs fine now!

Together with international co-operation we got this old stove running again. :content:

Thanks for the all the help for making my visit enjoyable and easy! Without local help it would have been much more difficult to find all the best places&things there.

At one shop I got these nice probes for stove gasket & thread cleaning: http://www.hozan.co.jp/E/catalog/Soldering/P807_809.html They could be good tools to have for a stove maintenance kit...
