I love my little Peak 1. She's a real cutie. The design of this model is divine.
I'm not sure how to describe this little stove, but it stands strong and proud.
Did I mention I love it.

I have a brown Coleman Peak 1, from 1982, which still goes well. It boils water really fast, and simmers right down. An excellent stove to have, Kretova Jane.

    Cheers

Thanks Simon Foxxx. I love it. Brown. Love it more.:content: It's just really, really cute to me.
I just got it, so yet to fire it up. It has barely been used. Maybe once or twice. Smile.

There's plenty to love about the Coleman Peak 1 model 400. Nice operating range from full blast to the lowest simmer.

"Going to Kansas City" is a great song too. Only thing is Coleman is in Wichita, Kansas and not Kansas City.
Maybe "The Wichita Lineman Stove person is still on the line".

Lol. :content: Yes I know. The person I bought it from shipped it from Kansas City and ever since it arrived, I have that song stuck in my head. Silly eh. I should have clarified that.

Lol. Yeah, it's a catchy tune. Two days later.... I was still singing the song, but couldn't remember all the lyrics, so I actually ended up at You Tube to give the song a listen to. Lol. Here ya go...

I had one of those years ago. I gave it to a friend. I'll have to see if he still has it. Maybe he'll RE-TURN it to me? Great song...a classic.

Hi there Billyboy. Thanks for dropping by. I have a Coleman 508B. They are a little smaller, but still robust looking. I haven't used it yet but I intend to.
