    Thank you for sharing.
Is there a stamp on the bottom of the tank to date this kit?
The key looks like a clack key, could that be?
What does the label inside say?

The case forms part of the British Military No7 stove set (look in the stove gallery under GB - Military). The No7 stove set consisted of the the case you have, with an Optimus 80 tank with a Svea 123R burner. The cases can be bought via military surplus stores and are very strong with replaceable pot supports. All the No7 cases that I have seen are stamped on the lid with '139 3651 [up arrow] SD1 78'.

So yours would appear to be a Primus 71 in an British Military No7 case.

Yes Spiritburner the stove is older than the case by a very good margin, the original case was very rusty and I replaced it with that one.
