greetings, found an old stove and would love to fire it up but we have no fuel tank. Is a replacement available or can another be used? tks, kool website
Look in the reference section of this site and see what type of tank the #6 needs. There are a small but steady number of these rather ancient stoves on e-bay and you might be able to find an otherwise beat up stove with a good tank at a reasonable price. I know there are several members who have stoves of this vintage, and hopefully they'll be along to advise you. Welcome to CCS, you've come to the righ place... Paul
Thank you Paul for your help, my wife and I are excited about using it even though we have a class A motorhome. Something about egg's and potatoes fried on a cook stove outside makes camping more fun!
Paul, found a beat up model 3 with a perfect tank at a antique store, the case is toast but the pump, tank and tool are perfect! Coffee is perkin as I speak, thanks again! sigs
Hey Sigs, Welcome to our forum and a nice stove you have there. But there is one little thing, we here don't believe you that you have gotten the stove going without hard proof! 8) So, pictures, mate, post some pictures!!!
