The NRV came out of the Svea 105 easily thanks to good advice and tools. but... there doesn't seem to be a washer between the NRV and the tank. Also, able to take apart the NRV... tanks to good advice and tools.. and the pip is an "all in one".

I've heard that the new stoves have the "all in one" pip. Do they also not have a washer between the NRV and the tank? It looks and feels like metal... but not lead.... more like brass.

Any ideas? Does this sound ordinary?

here is a pic. (the area around the goldish area looks very dirty but it isn't... just the light)

@NW Lady In the chat that we had off forum about washer materials recently I mentioned that sometimes no washer at the base of a NRV was a manufacturer's preferred option.

Some (good!) lead washers are very thin and after use paper-thin, almost invisible and well bonded with the pump bottom. If so, just leave it where it is, don't try to remove it.
