    I confirm the results on electrolysis procedure. Instead of baking soda I use soda ash, it works very well, and removes the paint too.

    You can let the parts covered in bath as long as you want, but after rinsing and drying, you've got to protect it well and quickly, it is bare steel !

    I heard it isn't good for springs too. I don't know the truth.

    It happens to lose some auctions (I lost a brand new Optimus 11, gone for 30€, thanks to Ebay sniper softwares), but a day you will be the winner. Just matter of time.

    Sorry for your addict, I think I am hooked too. Happily for me my wife didn't realise yet !

    Hi @patatwin I believe that Soda Ash and Washing soda are both Sodium Carbonate.

    You're right, it is the same product. I had a translation issue. And I am actually unable to remind why I used the term of "baking soda", which I don't use in electrolysis, but on vinegar bath !
