Love raised lettering on the pump collar & filler cap. The 45/48 were introduced sometime between 1912 & 1915.

Coffee that was in this stove is very delicious still.;)

    Hello Motoshi

I agree entirely with the above comments, but I would also like to say that I just love that cast-iron pan ring. :D

Wonderful stove. Agree with all above comments, but that depression in the spirit cup is the first I have seen, and should never have been discontinued!
Motoshi, your photograph captures the worth of it perfectly. How many of us have had to strike a second match because the last of the spirit boils off in the blink of an eye? I hate wasting that second match!
Thank you for your splendid photos Motoshi.
    Cheers, Tom

    Hello Trevor.
I also think that making is very good of cast-iron pan ring.

    Hello Tom.
I think that it is a very good spirit cup though this spirit cup is simple.

    Best regards,
    Motoshi

Hello @Motoshi Makino You have a beautiful stove and great set of photos.
    please can you tell me:

    1. Is there an Optimus Globe and a statement in six languages of the top of your stove?

    2. You show the OPTIMUS marking on one side of the air-screw. Is there any marking on the second side?

    3. Does your tank have the deeper shape of the early Optimus 45 stoves?

I realise that it is seven years since the original post but I hope you still have the stove and can answer my questions.

    Thank you.
    Kerophile.
