Optimus 111B on kerosene :). Kjellis was very kind and sent me a 111 kero burner to make this possible!

Flame looks orange but it is the lighting. Once dark it was pure blue.

No stampings or labels on the stove.

    @Billyboy

It started to leak at the bottom of the riser tube.

Not sure if I did not tighten it down enough, or if I need a seal in there.

    Optimus Ranger 10

Following the instructions of 10-20 midi-pumps produced a very large flare up.

After the kerosene burned off a more sane 2-5 pumps produced better results.

    Still too much orange.... DSCF2408.JPG

Well, got the Veritas going in a more robust manner.

I was not able to stop the leak at the riser without some anti-seize or teflon tape on the threads.

Had it out tonight with a Primus 96 for comparison.

First half-pint stove I own...so not sure how large the flames get on this one.
I'll have to delve into the pictures other members have posted.

I quite like the size of the 96...might have to look into getting a Manaslu 96.
They seem to be well regarded around here.

I was curious about how the 96 measured against a Svea 123 and Ranger 10.

    Who said I was stubborn!!!

I was determined to make the Burmos No.21, which basically fell apart on me (here), work properly. It did!

I'll post the fettle later, but here are the flame shots:
