Nice score from down under buddy. Plan on making it shiny or keeping the patina?

Indeed, lovely stove! Just a "soft" clean would be perfect, if you plan to use it. Can we see it "at work"?

    Regards,

    Wim

Sure I will fire it up if I can figure out what I need to replace on it, it hasnt been used in over 20 years. What would you call a soft clean Wim? I like the sound of that rather than a hard polish.

Just a wet rag&soap approach, if the clear varnish is still on the stove, to take away the dirt. You could even try it on the box and such, I like to see these stoves have had a life! ;)

    Regards,

    Wim

Hi Steve, the Pr.96 has a half-pint tank, whereas the Pr.97 is fitted with a 1-pint tank. I believe that they share the same burner size.
    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

Can you still buy a lipstick jet for these, would be good to keep a spare. It wasnt too hard to get up and going just new filler cap seal.

I also have 2 of these stoves. The interesting thing is that they both have the same date code on the bottom as your one S28, now i thought 2 was a coincidence but 3 in NZ
maybe part of the same shipment
