This Primus pressed iron trivet, which suits a No.1 sized stove, came along as an extra piece with my Primus No.0 (which had this trivet fitted to it). I cleaned up the rust and painted it. I won't use it, as I have plenty of "generic" pressed iron trivets. Underside. "REGISTERED". "No. 600990". "MÖNSTERSKYDD". "NUMMER 293". "GEBR MUSTER". "No. 11005" I'm not sure how old this is. Cheers Tony
@shagratork and @OMC [Please keep this post in the thread as it explains the changes and demonstrates the usefulness of the CCS Reference Gallery]. Thanks to some excellent sleuthing by @OMC, I have to amend the above post (and requested amendment of the thread title). OMC pointed me in the direction of this post by @SMolson that shows this trivet without the rust damage that mine has. Steve's post clearly shows that the Registered No. is "600229" (which I had mistakenly taken, because of rust damage, to be "600990". Earlier I had posted a photograph of this trivet to get some assistance with translation: @shagratork reversed this image: A good look at the unpainted trivet at the section carrying the number shows that it is most likely "600229". So, thanks for the correction. Steve's post demonstrates that the trivet may be as early as 1915. I can't put an "as late as" date on it because it did not come attached to a stove (only in association with it, by being 'found in the same shed'). Cheers Tony
I can see why you could not easily read the numbers. I have rotated, cropped and enlarged the images. The first image is from SMolson's trivet and the next two are from your trivet.
