There was a Comet. They had the shooting star before Radius started using it.

    Check out this catalog. Link

"Cometa" is Italian for Comet. I am not sure if that was the purpose of spelling it on the cap.

It could be a Radius made cap. The shooting star is very much the same if not the smae as the Radius star. I wonder if Radius bought Comet?

Thx for input Jef. I have looked at the comet catalouge. Hugo Moller Tukholma must be H.M STOCKHOLM but with finnish spelleng ( i think) I not sure this is the same logo/company.

I'd put my money on that being Radius. I check some old burner caps later for comaprison - there was variation.

Possibly rebadging for someone else - Radius did do that.

Or for a market where someone else already had the trademark Radius tied up for similar product. I have a document of the countries where their trademark is registered & expiry dates so it was an issue.

One more example on a Radius 10/36 burner.

    Hi @Mickesouth.
I have seen that markings on a fount that's exactly like a Radius #12 right one that was for sale two years ago here at Uruguay. First I thougt it was from Hugo Moller but couldn't find nothing like it in his production.
Anyway I stored the picture for reference. Here it goes.

As you can see it is the same shooting star as Radius but with COMETA within.
    Cheers, Enrique.-
