As promised here are some more pictures of the Radius No 21. I believe that it may be post 1938. Anyone got any better date idea? Steve.

Except for a little spooge on the legs, it looks like it was NIB! Nice work!

Hi, if you wrap a wet towel around your head and study this post by Stejar:

    https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/20588

It would appear that your Radius No.21 is a Type 5 by his classification, as:

    1. It is clearly marked Radius Ltd.

    2. It has the Radius "shooting star" that was a feature of the earliest, Type 1 and 2 models.

    3. The filler upstand is not recessed, or "sunken", into the tank like the early Type 2 and 3 models.

    4. The "Made In Sweden" marking on the tank top is in large lettering.

So, if I stick my neck out, that would seem to indicate a date around the early 1950s.....

    What do you reckon?

Your stove is in lovely condition.

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

Hi Kero, Boy, is there a lot of info in that link! The detail tends to swamp me. Reckon you are right; Type 5, 1950's. Thanks - Steve.

PS: The Mods may like to amend the Post title to reflect the date. I will report it to them.

I would put a date at 1951 - 1955. If you have the original instructions, it might be possible that they are dated already.
