To clarify, the burner on my stove has at some point in it's life been replaced with a Radius burner.

Hi Gneiss, as far as I know, the 55 uses a silent burner. But as we all know, burners were often replaced, and the Radius (even if it is a roarer) is a fine burner. Maybe one day you'll come across a Valor silent burner.
I take it your stove has a date code? Where did you find this, as I never saw one on my Valor 55. (I'll have to dig her out to check! [-( )

    Best regards,

    Wim

Hi Gneiss, if you want a (slightly) more authentic Valor stove, I would be happy to swap a NOS Valor roarer burner for the Radius burner you currently have fitted to your stove.

It's stamped in the middle on the underside of the tank. If only all lamp and stove manufacturers did this.

    Kerophile - I've sent you a PM.
