    Hi All

Just finished this Valor Packaway, iv'e been after one for a while but good ones seem to be quite elusive, & finally had to do a full resto on this example which has had a bit of a hard life but came up suprisingly well i'm glad to say.

The legs are my own homemade ones with chisel'd tops to stop the dreaded pan slide, the tin, inner & wind shield i managed to collect seperately, just need a spirit tin.

Hi Stu congratulations on scoreing your packaway and a first class job restoring it to its former beauty and a stunning job you have done making the legs.
I have one of these Valor packaways and they are a realy good quality stove and i like there presure release screw which forms a air tight seal with a pip like on a NRV

Pretty pretty pretty! I had one exactly the same, if a bit gungier, it was a galloper! Just dont make the mistake I made of taking the burner head cover nut off the tank without 1st tweeking the filler cap vent to equalise pressure, I blooped a handful of kero onto a motel room table, stinky! ](*,)

    Lovely stuff!
