To Quote: "In temperatures over 15 C, you may reduse soot by adding a few % water."

Thanks, that's the first time I ever heard temperature mentioned in connection with adding water. I don't generally add water anyway I always found watered meths inferior now I know why. Maybe Numark meths has already as much water added as they can legally get away with and still call it Methylated Spirits?

In my part of the world the temperature rarely reachs 15C except maybe in July and August when it can get into the mid (sometimes high) 20s C. Today the maximum measured (Weather forcast/ Met Office) temperature is supposed to be 13 C but outside my house on a beautiful spring day it's about 10 C.

Pity I didn't plan anything sensible for today instead of swotting for exams. Time to take a walk...
