The Hunter --- last word??

After all these messages in this thread, I just want to say I am chuffed as nuts [very pleased ], with the hunter now I have sorted out the fuel problem.
I must say I bought some very cheap lighter fuel at a car boot sale, and it was only unleaded petrol [gasoline], so it went like a rocket but smelled.
The hunter goes on all camping trips and all day cycle rides. I liked it so much that I bought the similar but lighter Optimus 99 on ebay.

It arrived last week from the USA, and the fellow had left it full of fuel! It came air mail too! The fuel in it is excellent. The flame is higher and bluer than I am used to.

All in all the Optimus 8r must be the best 1-3 person stove. It is reliable, lightish, simmers well and is a fetching shade of pale blue.... unless someone knows different!!
