Pretty much the same as the Kelly kettle.

The Thermette would seem to be advantageous with the handle on the side. OTOH 2.5 pints is a fair bit to handle at the end of your wrist. The bucket handle of the Kelly / Storm Kettle might be better for carrying a load of water for a distance.
The fact that it's available made of copper is attractive too.
The problem with the bucket handle is that when lifting it off the fire the handle swings over the chimney. Mind you I've never burn't myself yet. I can't really think why! Usually I think it boils over and puts the fire down / out.
