Fire-Lite Stove

I have an old Fire-lite stove and need to ask where would I find two items that I believe need to assure this stove will light. Does this particular stove (Fire-Lite) need the cleaning needle? And secondly do I need a gasket that seals the cap to hold the pressure. Presently I am using an "0" ring seated on the inside of the filling cap.
P.S. Somewhere I read
the older SVEA123 model did not come with a cleaning needle.
