Optimus Svea 123R & midi pump

Hi,

I just bought* a 123R and midi pump. The instructions for the stove were clear enough, but I didn't find any with the pump itself.

I assume I pump it up a bit, then remove the pump and prime. Is this correct? How much pumping do I give the stove?

*Ordered from www.base-camp.co.uk. Very prompt delivery & all round good service. I am impressed!
