I saw this stove on a mail order site. I don't seem to be able to get much info about it -- how easy to clean --- simmerability [ if such a word exists! ].
Any of you guys ever used one? It looks great in the photo, at least

Hi Ken,
I don't have one and havn't seen one but I'm pretty sure it's a gas burner. I believe that Karrimor have now absorbed the 'Go' brand as part of an expansion into leisure equipment. 'Go' was set up, I believe, by ex employees of Camping Gas a few years ago.
It will be fairly controllable, certainly good enough for most campsite duties.
But it won't be as good as an Optimus Nova!

Enjoy your new stove whatever it burns.

Colin

This is what the actual info at the mail order firm says :-

Karrimor GoSystem FlexiFuel Stove

wiggle price £79.99

April Special Offer
Save 5% = £4.00
pay only £75.99

Stable, high performance compact stove that burns a variety of fuels, even diesel
Sturdy aluminium pump and pre-heater
Easy bleed and maintenance
Service kit included

Therefore, I think it is more than gas

Public Apology

April 5 2004, 9:46 PM

To One and All,
I really do apologise for my stupid blunder. I'm off to read that advert in more detail! And then I'll have a late night cuppa to console myself - from the Nova, of course!
Sweet Dreams,
Colin.

Ken,
Info on this can be found at:
http://www.gosystem.co.uk

Click on the karrimor gosystem (top graphic) and you'll rapidly home in on the technical info on the stove you've asked about.
The Nova rapidly did the business and I'm beginning to feel better already!
If you decide to get one of these stoves please post a report on your findings.

Thanks Colin for the info and the public apology. there was no need
I can see no flame regulator. I have a peimus multifuel which is difficult to simmer. Its an artform, which demands all the senses to stop it going out
I go for the NOVA!Its only a few quid dearer
