Primus 100

Kerosene, with one caveat. The 100 came in several variants, the original being the single riser tube with burner basket dropped on, exactly like a large 96, with the added feature that you could put a roarer or a silent spreader on the burner basket.
Then there were a couple of models of 100 that had conventional U-tube burners.
All of these of course burn kero.
The exception is the 100 with a spiritbrannare, which I have discussed before in a number of threads; it burns alcohol.
I have a couple of kero 100s in addition to the spiritbrannare 100. The ones I have have the single riser tube arrangement; to me, this is the unique feature that makes the 100s particularly interesting. The models with the conventional burner are essentially identical to the Optimus 45 and similar 1 3/4 pint roarers.

Thanks ED.

Interesting that it can possibly burn alcohol.

It it possible to get a kit to convert an kero to alcohol?

Thanks again.
