There is no tragedy... Building selfpressure work process, is connected with tank temperature It is main truth about thats stove. My story is: 1 typical inspection of new stove - hanged NRV - solved w/o any trouble - no fuel transport 2 problem was with internal fuel pipe - in the tank - "L" shape - circa 2 mm diameter, 125 mm lenght - rust with hard rust first 60 mm cleaned with 0,7 welding wire -takes 20 minutes between 50-75 mm was "angle" - soft wire, hard wire - 4 hours - reached 85 mm (25 mm -takes 4 hour !!!) -------------------- it was end of possibility with thats technik possible scenario for the next steps was: 1 continue derusting chemie process from connector side and internal tank surface 2 reconstruct fuel pipes by drilling from connector side or 3 drill tank bottom and works with the clogged end 4 give up and leave that... OR I NEED 13 cm ELASTIC DRILL and next day i solve problem in 10 minutes -------------------- rebuild lead seal tank-burner 16 celsius - no wind only 1 cup of preheat working at once after 10 minutes was more power - tank temperature was higher after 20 minutes - boiling test - w/o special chalenge 2 liters at 10 minutes it is nice stove, strong, good for cooking
I’d agree Gieorgi if only it would simmer! Inserting a close-fitting cable/wire in the fuel pipe did nothing to reduce the intensity of the flame on mine. John
simmer test max down minimal stabile up max -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- restrictor inserted lower gas pressure minimal less power pulsation disapired ! minimal up next step - rising generator temperature ----------------------------------------------- btw - in simmer process - first "the sound" was changed, after then - flame size @presscall
as Yours first... but bike brake type surface was bigger i think - is power reserve in generator temperature
@gieorgijewski Any idea what this component in the Prim Compact spares kit is for? Working on mine, I’ve not seen it in any part of the mechanism.
@presscall Did you get an answer? There is something similar on the inside end of the graphite packing on the Optimus Rider 324. It simply aided in the graphite 'packing' better.
@snwcmpr Yes I did Ken. You’re right, it resembles that sort of packing washer but it isn’t because the hole’s too small for the spindle. It’s fits the burner fuel inlet tube to tank joint, though the metal-to-metal joint there doesn’t need it.
here it is... "power is back" simmer range is wide - nice to realise down could be lower max imo - i left some reserve - i do not need more power may be - it need little bit less fuel vs 111b ------------ resume: standard minimal "new stove" inspection procedure unblocking fuel pipe fuel restriction set up generator work temperature ------------ thats all was enough - for perfect work all "what i was buy" i get/have nice work strong compact low position of pot stand silent burner ------------------ next step - some tuning tricks @presscall
