    I am really happy that with the advice given, the stove and silent cap are now working brilliantly.
    Not sure it will stay as shiny as it looks at the moment, but I am sure that with the full set of spares and the knowledge gained here about the no12, its not going to let me down when most needed.

    Hi @spud13 Great priming and flame shots. Your No.12 looks wonderful and I'm glad you have taken the time to understand and fettle your stove. It should now work great, and you always will be able to keep it operating as it should.

    I'm not Tony but the stove is a "Pigeon Ignus" from France. There are several examples in the Reference Gallery.
