Hi Folks, I picked this up recently as I spotted early features A 1911 "A" stamped big-fount, un-numbered Primus, fitted with a later 4142 burner. Earlier style of fount without the additional swage on the top. The Burner is a large 4142 type. Not original, it would typically have a roarer fitted, but would have made it very useful/quiet in a domestic application. If it had a deep-skirt fixed-ring burner, I would say it could have been a candidate for an early No.7. These were offered in 1914 with the newer shaped fount (Ian's one HERE). As it is, looking at the 1905 Catalogue, I'm going for a No.2 Inner and outer caps are on their way, and I have an offer of an air-release assembly from a kind donor. The leg will probably be re-soldered but it appears to have a strong enough hold in the meantime Fettle/flame-shots anon... Alec. @igh371
