Back by popular demand "Great British CCS Bake Off" will be held again at this years meet.

As defending champion I get to choose the recipe.
    From the Bero Book again.

    Petticoat Tails Makes 16

    250 g (9 oz) Be-Ro Plain Flour
    75 g (3 oz caster sugar
    175 g (6 oz) butter

1 Heat oven to 160ºC, 325ºF, Gas Mark 3. Grease a baking tray.
2 Mix flour and sugar in a bowl, rub in butter.
3 Knead well to form a smooth paste.
4 Divide into two equal parts, shape and flatten into 2 x 18 cm (7 inch) rounds, about 1 cm (½ inch) thick.
5 Mark top into 8 portions, decorate edges and prick with a fork. Place on baking tray and bake or 30 minutes until pale and golden.

Gary, I will try my best [-o< [-o< , but only if you and Ross promise to dig me out a parking spot before I get there :D/ :D/ . Tis a very long way for me, but loved it last year, so will do my utmost to make it again. It will be great to see the inept tent pitchers again   . Steve.

Is anyone going up there from down south? I'm in Luton but could arrange to meet someone by a train station along the way.

    Hi
    Just a bump.
Month to go, it's a good chance to show off your christmas presents O:) .
Long range weather forecast isn't bad.

I'm across the water that weekend, free on the Sunday, but some distance away in Leicester.

If, tentatively, I can purloin a car for the day I'll pop in.

Unfortunately travelling by air with cabin bags only precludes bringing any toys. But it would be good to meet some fellow idiots.

    Hi
A week to go, weather forecast looks good.
I'd like to get an idea of the numbers if I can.
No worries if you have to leave it till the last minute rough guesstimate will do.

A local business man has donated a trophy for the cook off.

Aiming for Sat afternoon sometime & hoping someone might have some serviceable Primus No.1/5 pattern legs to trade, barter, swap or sell (note 'serviceable' - not necessarily pretty!)
