Are there any Primus or other European stoves that have the same burner tube size and threading as the Canadian Solus stove? I'm trying to source a "travel cap" for my Solus which is female thread, 1/2" X 28 tpi. and am wondering if any of the European stoves have the same size travel caps? Any help or advice would be truly appreciated. Stan
Can anyone tell me if their Canadian Solus stove has a knurled fuel sealing cap (fount cap)that screws on to the air release knurled knob and if so what the diameter and tpi of the threads are? I'm trying to find out which primus style stoves use the same size. I can't seem to get the "Upload Images or Files" link to work or I'd show an example of the part. Here is the photobucket url to the pic. http://s273.photobucket.com/user/magikbus/media/Solustravelcapcopy_zpsab04775d.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0 Thank you for your replies. Stan
I just checked mine and I don't have a cap that goes on the air screw. To be honest, I don't recall an air screw like that being fitted from the factory. edit: Was just looking at some pictures in the gallery and there are a few with air stems fitted with these caps. Never noticed that before ! Mine looks like this one: https://classiccampstoves.com/fusion/gallery/890/thumb_1279520294-Can_8_opt.jpg
