    I came home and found this on my doorstep (along with a very robust 2-burner Australian-made Primus gas (propane) camping stove).

    It's not really my taste, but it has a certain je ne sais quoi...

    A Grasshopper!!! I had one years ago, and gave it to one of my friends. Wonder where it is now? Great little stove.

    i had one of those years ago, but it leaked fuel from somewhere and there were flames near the valve, so i dumped it

    i recall Presscall did a rebuild of one and identified the problem as a worn o ring - so beware!

    Tony, I am soooooooo pleased you posted this stove.
    I have seen it mentioned in one document but was not sure exactly how it looked.

    Nice one Tony. With the 'proper' control wheel and spindle a variation on the more usual type with flame control by twisting the gas cartridge shroud.

    I have/had one, not very effective in the cool weather we usually have, and it HAD to have a windscreen if there was a breeze. But they are cool looking....wonder where mine went??

    @shagratork & @presscall

    Seeing there is interest in this little stove, I'll get some detailed photos and post in the Reference Gallery.

    Cheers

    Tony, that would be great.
    I am considering starting a thread involving this and other similar stoves, so publishing it in the SRG would be ideal.
    There are no other posts of the 2265 in the SRG though there are posts elsewhere here and here.
