Thanks, omc, it is great to be on CCS, what a great resource! I want to thank you Dusan, too - of pointing out that on our 535's spindle wheel placements are different: Essentially this led me to the track in the first place, of seeking out differences in the burners. By O/F ratio, I meant A/F which is air to fuel ratio, in post #8. There are yet secrets to be revealed about the alcohol burner; there must be something behind the two part inner cap design otherwise Optimus had made it one part. We feel honoured, if we can join "fellow stovies". Co-operation is strength! -K
Gentlemen, forgot to add - should we have "burner reference gallery" (probably under stove reference gallery?). If burners were sorted out by technical details (eg. silent/roarer/wick, fixed/adjustable), it could work like "bird identifier". -K /Edit:Better name might be "burner identifier"?
Hi Dusan, I'm new to this group and want to know how you removed the pump tube without damaging it? Is there a trick to removing it? Thanks, Sarong
