    Hi, here are pictures of a Shinabro 680r restoration. The inside the tank has been cleaned in 5 steps because it was very gummy, reformed the flame ring and a 15 minutes citric acide bath for the burner. Burner is red now even after only 15 minutes bath and a good rinse, on the other hand, it was looking funny when I received it. YES burner is noisy inside so everything is normal.

    In my clean up I did appreciate the quality of the stove, all seals are ok and the jet is .23 mm. On the pump side, leather cup is ok and it was easy to remove the NRV. By the way, NRV is different of the other ( see pictures ) and it is not screw brass on brass.

    Enjoy

    Hi, I believe that the jet aperture on these stoves is 0.32mm diameter.
    Best Regards,

    @kerophile

    Hi, after verification, the stove did arrive with 5 cleaning needles, 3 Shinabro .32mm and 2 with no name .23mm. The jet is .23mm and the burner was looking funny when I received it ( see pictures) and did not try yet. Now Questions - what can be the orange stuff on the burner? Tank size capacity is about the same as the 111 and bolt are kerosene stove so why 111 with .23mm (2509) jet and 680r .32mm jet? Thanks in advance Kerophile

    The “orange stuff on the burner” is likely copper.
    If brass, a copper/zinc alloy, is left too long in an acid solution it suffers from de-zincification, where Zinc is preferentially removed from the surface layer. You should be able to remove it using a scouring pad and soap.
    Do not leave the burner is a cleaning slution too long in future!

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.
