    My new Aladdin .
    This odd ball had been sitting in shed for 8 years waiting to be finished.
    Reckon somebody got tired of crappy Aussie fuel and made up this clever idea.
    It works there is water and crap in trap already didnt clean out tank .

    Bought this base with the water trap installed no legs or burner grate missing.

    Bought another Aladdin complete to finish this one

    Had to make new longer legs because the brass extension was longer by
    1 1/2 inches

    Hope you enjoy you can use crap dirty fuel here .

    Amazing modification!
    Is this Aladdin a Svea 26 clone?

    I'm on the way....
    An after market adaption not seen in any vatalogues.

    A wonderful and very well engineered adaption, that also works as intended.

    Now that is a STOVE!!! Great job getting it put together and running like it should. You do beautiful work. Now you'll never have to buy fuel again. You can just use the old contaminated stuff people toss out.

    @Lamp_Doctor ,

    WOW!! It's a real pleasure to see this made to function as a stove, with your ingenious design and skills! I hate it when some folks drill out the tank bottoms, and run an electrical cord up through the burner, to a regular AC light bulb socket!!!! WELL DONE on your work with yours, Sir!! Thanks for sharing, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

    @Doc Mark & @teckguy_58

    My reading of Bob’s first post is that the water trap for the fuel was fitted to the tank when he bought it.

    Cheers

    We all do it.

    No shame, just a bit of evidence that we need to slow our lives down a fraction.

    Cheers
