    Hi all ive finally got one of my 2 Companion stoves fettled, it had stress cracks in 2 places that were soldered up.
    The other has been painted at some point and possibly abrasive blasted to get the paint off. Looking down the burner it looks unused. Cheers Peter.

    Thanks @ROBBO55 .
    I'm looking to buy one of those Indian burners off the Bay for outdoor use, I think most primus No1 burners fit. Cheers Peter.

    @Peter.C

    I may have a Companion roarer burner. If you can wait a week, I’ll check when I’m home.

    Cheers

    Tony

    Hi Tony no worries mate sounds great,I've only this morning got it stripped down Good stove like wine takes time. I noticed this one has some slight changes being a steel mount instead of brass for the pump washer and a full rubber NRV with no brass carrier,I'll machine a brass carrier so I can punch a seal for it. Regards Peter.
