Hi @Tantra you need to eliminate possibilities, one at a time. If you get this pattern with two good jets, it might suggest that the jet is not the problem. Next test is to remove the cleaning needle, and then run the stove without its cleaning needle. If the poor flame pattern continues it suggests that the cleaning needle is not to blame. You should then check that the burner is not distorted and that the jet is centred directly under the centre of the vaporisation chamber of the roarer burner. A partial blockage of the tubes or vaporisation chamber of the burner is also a possibility. Tell us what you find. Best Regards, Kerophile.
I suspect a very small leak where the nipple seals. Not enough escaping to burn at that location but enough to disrupt the air flow caused by the vapor rising. I have had this happen. I dressed up the seat on the burner. Look at it with a magnifier with the nipple removed and look for small pits in the brass seat. It can be dressed with a needle file but carefully.
No flame ring doesn’t make the one sided yellow burn. Efficiency is greatly degraded without one but it should still burn even blue without.
I wasn’t implying that the flame ring would fix the lopsided flame; just noting its absence in case he did not have one. The previous advice is worth following. Cheers Tony
Hi @Tantra please will you confirm that this is a kerosene fuelled Op.111 and not a gasoline Op.111b. Just checking. 111 vs. 111B Best Regards, Kerophile.
I have removed the cleaning needle, nothing happened same as before Now I have put the stove to the soup water,I hope I can obvious somewhere leak in the burner.
