It’s just a hard section of my life that was unexpected. Narriedfor 20 years. Been together from our teens. I’m only 1 month older than she. I’m still trying my best at taking care of things.
I almost asked a guy I know to pay for a subscription here so I could try and sell a stove but couldn’t bring myself to ask that.
Still I appreciate your sympathy. Really feels lonely when you got no friends or family to help out or just to talk to. She was and always be my best friend.but can’t think about that. I got things to take care of and issues that need to be taken care of ASAP. Well soon as I can make a little money. For now I’ll just keep looking at all the cool stoves people got on here. Keeps me from thinking to much.

I’m thinking I have to either get some Kerosene or use what fuel I have on hand which is only alcohol right now. The slide restrictor seems a bit like a novelty. Anyone know if it really works? I read the instructions and seems it’s mainly for alcohol or Coleman fuel with a certain jet??

I already grabbed the other 11. I’ll keep it as is and probably pass it to my daughter who is really into backpacking. She has new stoves from MSR, primus and Optimus but like me she loves old stoves too! She actually took my Optimus 99 on a 30 mile hike and several other long hikes. Personally I told her stick to her alcohol coockset which is a Trail Designs Ti-tri fissure which is made for her evernew 900 ml short ultralight pot. I use the same set hiking aswell. Love it! But I’m also a wood stove guy and take a pack flat wood stove often for backup or my main stove.
