Post your nomination as a reply to this post.

    The rules.

    • Stove must be presently owned by the member.
    • One entry per member.
This nominations post will be open for the month of October. At the end of the month the post will be closed & the qualifying stoves placed in a blind poll for members to vote for. The poll will remain open for 1 week. Most votes is the winner.

The winner will get a SofM Winner notation on their posts & profile & a £10 voucher code from The Fettlebox

If this takes off & is repeated sufficient times throughout the year all winners will be entered into a Stove of the Year poll in January 2020. The winner will get a SotY notation on their posts.

    Good luck & have fun!

This is my Mattas Early Kooker, it is used every day at the Hut .
It’s a gassey, patent date is 1920, I don’t know it’s actual date of manufacture. It’s cooking my breakfast and making hot water for tea.
    Cheers

You'd disqualify that magnificent stove on a technicality? That's cold blooded. It's got two burners after all.

    Howdy, Gents, and Ladies,

Here's my unmarked French Meths stove. Just did some quick maintenance, and the left burner fired right up, whilst the right burner needs some help. In order to help obtain success in this first time try for flame, I filled a sweet little tea kettle, gifted to me by our own Terry @Trojandog , when he and his missus came and joined us for CASG #8, and also poured himself a hefty glass of Goose Island IPA, prepared to drink it to either celebrate, or commiserate!!

    A.jpg

And, with the right burner, anyway, SUCCESS!! CHEERS, Mates!!

You can see more in the Stove Reference Gallery, by clicking here:

Lovely Green Enameled Meths stove: French??

Thanks for giving this fun stove a look, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

I hope your sharp eyes notices the kitchen towel hanging on the AGA. Thanks all for checking this one out and best of luck to all participating in the contest!

Nice stove but I count four burners. You might be disqualified.

    Coleman 345
    Colemen 345 Two-Burner Marine Stove. For boat gailey and trailer kitchen use. Equipped with two burner units, each with its own fucl tank;

made of heavy gauge brass, nickel plated. Instant lighting starter. Entire stove made of non-corrosive material: stainless steel. brass and aluminum.

The patent application date is 1949. I think it is Coleman's most unique product. Unlike other Coleman stoves, it uses kerosene as fuel and can be preheated using its own preheating spray gun.

Just for the sake - not one of the nicely polished and I really don't have time to take pictures on my used but fresh boxed Radius 12AF so here I post my Optimus 182 in long time user condition just enough fettled to full cooking performance - Optimus 182, used but still useable.
And yes, I bulked out the left tank so the pump tube points in the right direction again. IMG_20190725_171757.jpg IMG_20190725_211929.jpg

Not in the same league as others, but this turned up just in time.

A very tidy Turm 36, certainly needing less work than the 38.

    WP_20191031_11_39_08_Pro.jpg

    WP_20191031_11_46_53_Pro.jpg

And it's sitting on an induction hob not an AGA so can't even compete there either.

    Full details

    Turm No: 36
