    Hello to you all

I got my first OPTIMUS 96 in almost good condition. But I can't remove the burner from the lipstick vaporizer.... I heated it up and also used some kind of WD40 for several days but so far none of my attempts to remove the burner succeeded. If there are other methods that may help please let me know.

Try a true penetrating oil. WD40 isn't a penetrating oil. Kroil, Liquid Wrench or even better 50/50 acetone/ATF mix.

Heat and tapping quite a bit work best then twisting without deforming the bell. You need to break the bond holding the parts.

I just had one stuck on. I used the heat method, It was an easy task, better than I imagined it might be. I used a pencil tip butane torch so the heat only went where I wanted, right at the base of the bell.

My worst one needed the heat and firm tapping to loosen up. Did not have tools to pry them apart. After the tapping, parts twisted off easily by bare hands.

    Hello

I wasn't aware that WD40 isn't penetrating. I will try something else and also the heat method. When I ever will get it removed. Is there something that prevents the burner bell from getting bond to the lipstick again?

WD40 wasn’t developed as a penetrating oil, it was developed as a water dispersant spray (WD). It was originally meant to be used to clear condensed water off distributors and spark plugs in cold weather, but it is a reasonable penetrating oil and that has become its major use today.
There are better home made penetrating oils. Most common is a thin metal lubricating oil made thinner by mixing 50:50 with acetone.
