Just what it was designed to do.
A new pump would be a good idea.

i have the ‘G’ stove. really nice runner. i get it out once in awhile just for nostalgias sake.
the person who gave me the stove messed up the yellow pump so i use a newer pump. works fine.
recently Cascade Designs told me over the phone i could send the stove in and have refurbished for $25, but it really doesn’t need anything.
been thinking about adding a carbon felt priming pad so the above info
    helped

    thanks Harder D.

I wonder what MSR would do in a refurbishment of a Model G stove.
